Wow, it has been quite a while since I posted. Well, today I will tell you this, Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan (Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan) is a good buy. Actually, I knew this before I bought it. About 6 months ago, I saw the fansubbed version. It still hilarious and uncensored. So, go buy the DVD and get it quick, I where I normally buy from was sold out in a day, and the other place had 1 copy left when I bought it.

Not really to exciting, but, who cares. I recently got Crysis Warhead, Infinite Undiscovery, and Rock Band 2. All of which are great. Crysis Warhead runs a whole lot better than the original, making it a more likely buy for all you PC gamers.

UNTIL DOKURO-CHAN ARRIVES ON U.S. SOIL! Dokuro-Chan says vol. 1, but I don't know why. Media Blasters stated that they will release all 6 episodes (or 12 if you go by 15 minutes) on one dvd. Also, this is 180 minutes. If you divide that by 30, thats 6. So, for $16, you get a hilariously offensive anime.

So far, high school is alright for everything but 4th period. Algebra 2 is just so boring. If she would at least try to be a little more active and make it some what exciting, it would feel like an hour and a half instead of 4 hours.

Well, today is the last day of summer vacation. To make me feel happy again, I will have a 5 hour anime marathon. My viewings will include Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid! and Zero no Tsukaima Princess no Rondo. I just wish summer was longer. I needed to get more achievements and watch more anime. Well, atleast Lucky STar Vol. 3 comes soon, that something to look forward to.

OtoBoku Vol. 2

Today, I received OtoBoku Vol. 2. I enjoyed it just as I did the last one. Here is my review (Note: the real boxart has orange text instead of blue, I will upload a picture later on for you too see).

OtoBoku Vol. 2

Price- $13.50 at deepdiscount

Language audio- Japanese

Subtitles- English

Video- The visuals are fantastic to me. Great backgrounds, colorful, and nice animation. The quality never drops, keeping keeping up the calm feeling with a smooth frame rate.

Audio- The audio was great too. The seiyū do fantastically by making the viewer feel as if real emotion is there. The quality of the audio is alway high. I didn't notice any drop outs or fuzziness.

Story (WARNING: There may be spoilers beyond this point)- This volume starts with the summer and goes to fall. Focussing a little more on the supporting cast, they talk about why Mariya has such a grudge against Takako . Yukari opens up to Mizuho about her Onee-san also. For those that want to see Mizuho and Mariya together, you may be in luck. Though the cliff hanger last episode for this volume left me wanting more. Overall, it has a nice story, not over the top in any way, and they don't make Mizuho a pervert. Even though it's an all girls high school and there are some lesbian hints, you don't come away feeling dirty.

Pros- Nice animation, clean visuals, COLORS!!, nice audio, good story, funny, heartwarming.

Cons- Needs a little more extras, cliffhanger ending, 2 or 3 minor typos.

Final Grade- A

Yes, on November 4th of this year, the Season 1 Box Set of The Familiar of Zero (Zero no Tsukaima) will be released here! This anime series is one of my favorites and I have bee nwaiting for this since I heard FUNimation had the rights to distribute Geneon's titles. So, now, I have to buy Black Lagoon, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (When They Cry), and Zero no Tsukaima. I don't mind that. The more anime to watch, the better.

THIS IS REALLY PISSING ME OFF!! I refuse to pay toplay a beta, so, I have been working on trying to play it without activating. I mostly am using files that others modified but weren't able to start the game. One person got past the activation, but gets Error Code 5531. If it is ever able to be played, I will create a RAR with the files and Upload for all to enjoy.

Code Geass Part 1 LE

I ordered this on Thursday last week with 5 - 10 day shipping. Well, I got it in 3, so here are my thoughts on it. Only a retard would download instead of buy. You aren't an Otaku if you download anime that is licensed, you are a thief.

It comes with Vols. 1 and 2, OST 1, Drama CD 1, Info Books 1 - 3, CLAMP Character Sketches, Code Geass Manga Vol. 1, and an artbox.

By far, this is one of the best LEs I have ordered. I got it for $50.64 on deepdiscount.com.

To start off, I will say what I think about the manga. It is great, it goes through the first couple of episodes, with some slight differences. The cover has Lelouch, yet he looks younger. Though, he is the same age.

Next is the Info Books and Sketch book. The yare a nice additoon to this already great box. The Info books includes art, interviews, bios, and lelouch's Biritania History class. He is Super Deformed in it, which makes it better. :)

Now, the anime vols. The menus are really nice. Fully animated with BGM. Just as colorful as the series. The box art depicts Lelouch and Suzaku, and they both look angry. I already no that I like the episodes, (I watched them already before I bought this) so, I can give you a review. The story, art, characters, dub, and sub are all fantastic. You should definately buy this.

Now, for the last thing, the art box. I am a sucker for art boxes. This one is by far, my second favorite. (The Haruhi one beats it) The front opens up to show Lelouch (zero) and the door goes back to allow access. Extremely sturdy, I think you can kill someone in one hit with it. High quality art, with the characters slighly popping up and becoming shiny while the background is a matte shiny mix.

Something I have wanted for a while now, Rosario Vampire was released a couple weeks ago. I watched the anime and loved it now finally I can read the manga. Though, I have to wait a little longer for the anime since it has yet to be licensed. Hopefully Viz, who does most Shonen Jump manga, announces a license for the anime this year at Otakon. I will put up a review of vol. 1 as soon as I am done reading, so you people can know whether it is good or not.

i'm not, with so much more anime left for me to watch, why would I be? Though some people are taking a chance with a machine to find out stuff about the big bang. The Large Hadron Collider is being activated tomorrow. Many scientist believe it could possibly make a black hole,or just kills off a decent amount of the population. So, what does this mean for me and you? It means, if you point a laser at a wall tomorrow around 9 am, and it is hitting a different wall, you better get the hell off of Earth.l Or if everything goes black, you are dead. Also, it could do nothing to us at all. I'm going with the black hole thing just becuase it sounds cooler and because I will have left the country sometime tonight.

Starting December 2, 2008, all Inuyasha boxsets will have an MSRP or $49.99. Thats $50 off the original. So, I cna get the first 5 seasons for $250. I don't mind paying that comnpared to $500. Also, Naruto boxsets MSRPs will be going down to $34.99, though, you can normally find them for $24.99 at walmart anyways.

True Tears was licensed by Bandai Visual USA (now Honeymaise or something like that) But, here is the catch, disk 1 has 1 Epi, for $29.99, then the rest have 2 Epis for $29.99. $270 for a 13 Epi. anime, I think not. Why does Bandai have this division for their licensing? I don't know. Yes, I understand that the japanese pay the same or even more for anime, but they also get it on TV more often than we do. Well, I just see fans of the series, like myself, not buying it or atleast buying it and not being to happy with Bandai.

Yeah, today really sucks ass hairs. Vundo (VirtuMondo) somehow got on my computer. I have yet to find out the source of the infection and it was one of the most annoying things ever to remove. If you ever get it, run this program http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
That was a life saver. Make sure you run in safe mode with no internet access though.

(NOTE: I use pirating in this post. By this I mean, if you can buy the US or whatever country you live, version of a DVD and instead you download it. Thats piracy, not if you download a fan-sub of an anime that never has touched US shores before.)

Lately, Fan-subs have become more popular. The legal issues around them aren't exactly clear, but people still download them. I download them, but only under set conditions.

1 - If it is licensed, no downloading. Even if this means waiting for a year before the first release. Downloading when it is licensed hurts the industry.

2 - If an Anime is licensed but you downlaoded the Fan-subs before. Delete them and pre order the DVDs as soon as possible. You already know you like it, so why would you not want to own it?

3 - NEVER DOWNLOAD ANIME THAT IS RELEASED ALREADY IN THE US!!!! I know people do it all the time. This hurts not only the US industry, but also th Japanese also.

4 - If the anime has been released in the US, and the sequel season is announced. YOU DON't DOWNLOAD THE SEQUEL. You wait till its released in the US because rarely will a company license the first season and not get the rest. For example. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has been out in the US for a while. A sequel has been announced for it and is expected within the coming year in Japan. You may not download the 2nd season.

I know that people will complain about prices. I may not have tons of money but I still own a lot of anime. Companies are starting to release anime in 13 episode sets instead of single vol. DVDs. FUNimation is releasing Ouran High School Host club in to 13 Episode sets. So, you psend less money.

Also, Fan-subs now are not about quality and more about competition. Most groups compete for viewers so they can get donations. Not only that, but they also are of lower quality translations than the official US releases. 1 week verses 4 weeks for a translation is pretty bad.

One more thing, pirating anime whether it's fan-subs or DVDs does not make you more of an Otaku. In fact, it makes you less. So please people, buy the DVDs.

Starting in the coming week, I will be posting good deals on anime hopefully to help others actually buy more. So, I will help pirates so they can help the industry the way I do.

Bought Crysis yesterday. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. Great graphics and physics. UPDATE: Maybe not. It's been stuck at processing since last night. So no video.

Finally, I decided to order Azumanga Daioh: Complete Collection Class Album. I needed something new, well new to me. Hopefully it will be as funny as everyone says.

The dub was great. The voices match the character very good. The quality never drops below an A-. If I have time, I will update the post with the Subs since I know that some of you seem to think that Fan-subs are better than official even though I would much rather have official than fan-subs.

I got it today. Finally!! After ordering 3 times, 2 of which had it out of stock as soon as I click submit, I found somewhere that had it.
The case is a special one only with the Limited Edition. I like it, but I for see people not liking the childish look of it. Though I liked the first one also.

The Limited Edition comes with the Kagami Hiiragi Lucky Star Character Song Vol. 2 CD. I have listened to all the songs, and I can assure you that any Otaku that is like me, will enjoy it. I recommend ripping it to your Ipod or any other MP3 player so you can always treasure the CD.

The disk art isn't fantastic, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. I would have preferred more of the characters.

Now for one of the main reasons I order the LE. The Shirt. Each LE vol. of Lucky Star comes with a shirt with a print of a piece of clothing from the series. This volumes was the Bathing Suit Konata wheres to the beach in Episode 6. If you don't know the significance of this bathing suit, then you probably need to learn a little more about the Otaku and Japanese culture. I do not feel like typing it all out.

So now that I'm done telling you people about this GREAT DVD, I will be going to listen to Kagami sing to me while I play Call of Duty 4 or Unreal Tournament 3.

I will watch it tonight, and tell about the Dub and Subs in a post tomorrow or later on tonight.
